Today I once again drove my grandmother to her hair appointment. Since it’s the last time I’ll see her before I move, I’m glad I did it. We talked a bit about likes and dislikes in terms of food, she is always telling us that our family is picky, but after hearing about her like and dislikes today, I’m pretty sure she’s picky too. We also talked about driving.
She was impressed that I did full stops at stop signs, and that I wasn’t a nervous driver. I guess that’s a good thing especially since I’ve really only been doing serious driving for about a year now. It’s only been two since I got my licence. Yes I was very slow in getting my licence, I really didn’t care about it so I put it off. In fact all of my siblings and I have been rather slow, my brothers didn’t get their licences till they were 18 so I guess all us kids are late bloomers.
After taking her home I then went out and did a wee bit of preparatory shopping for basics like toothpaste, shampoo, and soap because I hadn’t packed any yet, and those are important things to have when you are away.
