Aqua venture at Atlantis The Palm offers 17 hectares of water based attractions, the peak of which is the 30 metre high ‘Ziggurat’, with seven slides; and the ‘Leap of Faith’ – a near vertical 90 foot drop into ‘Shark Tank’. The park also includes more than two kilometers of non-stop river action with cascades, tidal waves and rapids as well as a private beach with water sports. Also within the park is ‘The Dig’, with 18 unique and unusual exhibits; and Ambassador Lagoon which houses more than 65,000 sea creatures.
Dolphin Bay at Aqua venture is home for families of Bottlenose Dolphins, and kids can swim and play with these delightful creatures in the three shallow lagoons. Next to the family-friendly Jumeirah Beach Hotel, is the Wild Wadi – 12 acres of pure fun with 30 adrenalin-pumping rides and attractions including a surf wave and pools.
The Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo at the Dubai Mall showcase the marvels of the ocean floor and one of the most diverse collections of marine life in the world. Visitors can come face-to-face with dangerous piranha, giant catfish, playful otters, penguins, seals, sharks and rays from behind the safety of the world’s largest viewing panel.
