We’re still in Reykjavik, alarm was around 9.30, check out (for Guenda) at 10, and then ready to explore the city!First stop, of course, a bakery, nice Cappuccino with some desserts to start with the right dose of sugar.Incredible but true, the baker was italian, in fact he was keep looking at us, and before we were leaving he asked: “are you italian?”.
We stayed like half an hour talking with him, and he described all the situation in Iceland, he’s working there since 2 years already. Imagine living in a place like this for that long, without knowing the language, my god!
Well, after a good talk, we moved to the big church of the city: Hallgrímskirkja, with the strange architecture. Inside is not really special, all white, a huge organ on the top. The best thing is that you can go on the top, for 700Kr, no-one checks so for the bad people, yes you can go without paying.
