We just returned from a wonderful vacation. It was really a treat to be able to take time off, go somewhere new, and enjoy activities and things we had not done before. While we did plan out where we were going to be during our vacation, we left the schedule up in the air (which is kind of the point of taking a vacation, right?).
As we saw things that interested us, we did it. Some of the activities where short in duration while others took a bit more time. The result? We ended up doing some really random activities and had the most fun on a trip in quite a long time.
By not keeping to a set “schedule” per see, it allowed us to go where we wanted and not have to watch the clock. It really allowed us to relax and enjoy the time we had. I call it being random because there was nothing we had to “do” during our trip.
