Well, if I were to have a bucket list (I don’t) then to go on the Great Ocean Road would have been one of them. I have no idea why – except that I have obviously heard from others that it is “pretty” and I’m a sucker for God’s beautiful creation. In particular, I’m drawn to sunsets, beaches and waterfalls – oh and also for some dumb reason – the wish to get a Windmill shot somewhere in the outbck. This Road gave all and much, much more! So, here are some reflections and just some of the ridiculous amount of photos Lyndal and I took while on the road much travelled.
Just going through all the photos taken has once again drawn me to how beautiful the Great Ocean Road truly is. We began the Scenic trip on the 21st July (almost one month ago from time of writing! Time has been flyyyyyyyyying!!
While not officially the start of the road, we stopped at Bells Beach to have a squiz. Bells Beach is one of those beaches where I’m stoked to see as its the most famous surfing competition beach in Australia – yet really insignificant because I can’t surf! To be honest, the beach was um nice – but as far as looks are concerned, Port Stephens and Newie are much much better beaches (from a non surfing perspective).
