Very very first time in the eastern europe. Well, I was always so looking forward to visiting this unknown world. Hmm, yeah I think it’s getting known better year by year. I mean Prague, Krakow, Budapest and all the coast cities of Croatia are many people’s favourite. Plus there’s a bunch of volleyball players that I admire and they’re mostly from Poland.Anyway, I got in Warsaw from Bologna! It was a rough flight I’d say because I had to get up at 5:30 A.M, 2 bus transfers, exchanging money to Polish Zloty.
I didn’t couchsurf in Warsaw because I once again got lucks! My swedish friend Gustav and his kazakh friend (Sorry, I tried to remember his name but I failed it again…I used to call him ‘Evdokimov’ though.) were visiting Warsaw in the same period as I was. What a lucky guy I am!
Finding the hostel wasn’t very difficult. People tried to help me a lot despite not being able to speak english. I felt very welcomed. The first impression of Warsaw? Well, very dark and depressing I’d have to say. Gustav and I were saying like “Oh, we’ve got to leave here as soon as possible, otherwise me might die of boredom and depression.”
