At the moment, I am on the train heading for London from Edinburgh. First class, my parents believe in traveling in style. We get free internet and free booze. A perfect combination for bad blog posts. But today is my 32 wedding anniversary; so there should be a free pass. Bob got me an R-Rated flip book on why stick people disappeared.
I got him a couple of pictures to hang on the wall. We will celebrate by going out for dinner tomorrow night in London. Will actually get a chance to use my one nice outfit, which turns out to be both the only clothes I’ve not worn on vacation and that makes it the only clean outfit left.
I like traveling by train. It’s relaxing and you get good views. However, I don’t have any good pictures. So today, for your viewing pleasure; a couple of pictures: Bob on the train and a picture of the free booze. That one is the most interesting to me; I have never been offered free booze on any type of public transportation.
Bob was equally astonished the first time he saw it. Now being experienced UK train users (having three rides apiece); we just enjoy it. And the other really cool thing about this blog post—it got posted while traveling on train. Isn’t technology wonderful?
