Wow, I’ve been busy this week! I have barely had time to do anything relaxing. I’m in sort of a weird transition period, and apparently it requires a lot of planning and researching. It’s exhausting but very exciting – I can’t wait to share the good news!
Meanwhile, I finally had a chance to sit down and upload the pictures I took while in Maryland. I have to say I felt nostalgic (already!) and can’t wait to go back. Here’s a little snapshot of the 4 super-fun days I spent there…
I arrived early in the morning and drove straight to my friend’s work to see her! I missed her so much! Then I went to her house and started reading a book, and of course I fell asleep for hours. When she, her husband, and their cute 2.5 year old arrived, we ordered delicious pizza and spent some time catching up. Even though I took a 2-3 hour nap, I was still pretty tired and we all went to bed early-ish.
I woke up very early (anything before 7:30 is way too early for me…) and I went to a work meeting I had in Columbia, which was quick and successful. I spent the rest of the day exploring Columbia. What a beautiful town!
