Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday of this week I was in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Just a second from StoryLand was our camp ground Glen Ellis Family Campground a place my family had been going to every year since I was born. We stopped going in 2007 because of a little bear problem…
I was thrilled to find out this year that we would be going back… the bad news was that 2 nights was just not long enough, but we made the best of it!I stayed in a cozy tent with a friend while the rest of my family slept in other tents and campers.
Above you can see pictures of my tent and a view from our campsite. I loved the portion of the Saco River the campground has access too… the water was so clear and fresh. In the past we have tubed down it, but we just didn’t have time this year.
On Tuesday we drove to Glen Falls about 20 minutes from the campground. Entering the tunnel that took you under the highway felt strange, but the 69 foot waterfall that waited for us was amazing!
