Kutaisi was short lived but it had been one of the highlight of Georgia. Staying for a night in Kutaisi seemed very short but we had enjoyed our time and we have to come back to Tbilisi because we are supposed to have last dinner with Kuya Buddy but his Supra (traditional dinner with lots of toast for the celebrant) was earlier than expected and he enjoyed it so much that he was not able to answer us for the dinner.
On the other hand, OZ our host in Tbilisi looked for a restaurant for us so that we can have a farewell dinner together coz it’s our last night in Tbilisi. We went to a local restaurant where they have lively music and people dancing! It was a great dinner and off we went home drunk with endless wine and good company.
The next day we woke up and of we went to the bus station for Armenia. We ended up paying for the whole car (110GEL) to drive us to Yerevan. Along the way the driver asked us if we want to do some sight-seeing but the communication proved to be very hard coz he doesn’t speak English and we do not speak Russian nor Armenian. I had to call a friend so that we at least have an agreement. We wanted to visit Lori, a place that has lots of good monasteries but due to language barrier we only went to Lake Sevan and Hagartshin.
