Vintage Berlin

I found inspiration looking at other photography blogs and I decided to go for a walk and try to put it into practice. I wanted to find a way to seize the indescribable feeling one has when walking around the streets of Berlin, and the feeling I have, when walking around my area, Kreuzberg.

Not the easiest thing to do – I always find it hard to take pictures when I plan to. I actually could compare photography with one of my other favourite activity : shopping. Let’s say you just got paid, and you decide to go shopping. It is very unlikely that you will find everything you’ve always wanted to buy when you were broke. And, when you’re broke, you find everything you’ve always wanted to buy when you got paid! Well, for photography it’s the same.

When you see amazing sceneries that would make awesome pictures, you forgot your camera or you thought you wouldn’t need it or, worst case, you ran out of battery. And when you take your camera and go for a walk, thinking that today is a perfect day for pictures, everything goes wrong. Well, at least, it’s what happens to me.
Hopefully, everything did not go that wrong last time and you will like the pictures.
